- Stating these limits to one’s partners as one establishes a dynamic.
- Occasionally re-evaluating one’s hard limits due to changing needs over time. New things may need to be added, or old things taken off if feelings are different.
- Reserving hard limits for things that are actively bad for one’s health and wellbeing.
