Shopping
We make jewelry in everything from hypoallergenic aluminum, raw copper or brass, sterling silver, gold, white gold, rose gold and even gold dipped sterling silver.

Our goal is to offer something for every budget. As passionate hand crafters who enjoy mixed-media, we also use materials such as crystals, glass, wood, acrylic, ceramic and porcelain.

You can learn about the materials of any particular item in the product description.
If you realize after you place your order that you made a mistake, error, or typo we’re happy to make that change for you as long as we haven't already started to create your order.

Please contact us within 24 hours of placing your order to make changes.

We make orders in batches, and some processes are started shortly after the order is placed, so please double check that your details are perfect before submitting your order.
We sell gift cards in increments of $10, all the way up to $500. Gift cards are delivered electronically via email immediately after purchase. You can print it out yourself, or forward it off to the person you're giving it to.

Physical gift certificates are available by request, for an additional fee. Contact us for more details.
Gift cards are sent via email to the purchaser, and can then be forwarded to the recipient as needed. At this time our website doesn't support sending gift cards directly to third parties.
Yes! Right on the product page. All of our personalized products have built-in font previews in the order form. Simply choose your preferred font and then enter your desired text to see what it'll look like!
.925 silver and 14K stamped hallmarks are standard in the jewelry industry, however, this stamp often ruins the design of many of our pendants and pieces.

We can add hallmark tags to our necklaces and charm bracelets upon request. We can also stamp hallmarks inside cuff bracelets and other pieces upon request. If you would prefer this, simply request it in the notes box on our checkout page.
If you don't agree with our choice to make kink goods and offer them in a non-gendered, intersectional environment, you are more than welcome to shop elsewhere. There are a lot of brilliant gear makers out there, and we support them, too. If we aren't your cup of tea, please kindly exercise your right to shop wherever you please.

We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel orders for customers who are unnecessarily rude, abusive, or hateful in their interactions with us, or our fans and customers on social media. In the event of a canceled order, a full refund will be issued. We reserve the right to block rude, abusive, or hateful people from our social media accounts.

We stand proudly for our values as intersectional feminists and we do everything we can to support and foster equality for all. We understand not everyone feels the same way. We just ask those that disagree to be respectful, or leave us be.

Non-adjustable collars: Choose the exact length you would like this collar to be. We will not add any length.

Babe, we get it. Our apparel and clothing items are available via Print on Demand providers that print t-shirts, mugs, etc. when you order them, and ship them direct to you. This allows us to offer many fabulous designs without any risk of overproduction.

Because we rely on Print on Demand providers, we are limited to the products they make available for sale. Though we have reached out to all of our print providers and spend many hours researching providers with more inclusive sizing, the best options still remain a couple of plus size leggings options, and unisex T-shirts.

This sucks for us AND for you, both bc we are both sized out of many of our own products as business owners, and because we would much rather have a robust catalogue of inclusively sized kinky tees and crop tops and such.
Care & Cleaning
We have plenty of leather collars in widths of 1/2", 1", and 1 1/2" that are sturdy enough for near-24/7 wear.
Our heavier chain collars are well-suited for sleeping-in, as well.
We do not recommend sleeping in any collar with a bow, as this can bend, crease, or deform the bow.
We do not recommend sleeping in very delicate collars, as they can accidentally be snagged or pulled on while sleeping.
Avoid getting leather wet, as this will warp and discolor the leather and eventually cause the leather to break down.

If you do accidentally get your leather wet, dry it off with a towel, and lay it flat to dry thoroughly in a cool, dry place.

Do not heat the leather in an attempt to dry it, as this will cause the leather to crack and warp.

Water, from a shower, pool, lake, ocean, and even sweat will react with metals of most kinds. We don't recommend 24/7 wear for materials outside of stainless steel or sterling silver.

Rose gold contains copper, which means it can discolor from oxidization.

Sterling silver will oxidize black, it can be polished with any jewelry polishing cloth.

Water will damage beads of almost any kind, and we do not recommend bathing or swimming in any beaded or rhinestone jewelry.
Affordable jewelry comes at the price of longevity - the only gold finish that won't wear off over time is solid gold (which is currently $2,500 an ounce). So if you're buying plated jewelry or gold filled jewelry, learn how to prolong the lifespan of it with proper care, and you can enjoy it for years.

You don't wanna hear this but...
The best way to prolong the finish of your plated jewelry is by not wearing it 24/7. We know! This is pretty antithetical to a lot of beliefs around day collars, and we're okay with that. We believe you should
Avoid Chemicals
Avoid getting sprays of any kind on your leather. Hairspray, perfume or cologne, or any other kinds of chemicals can negatively effect the finish of the leather, and build up over time.

Perfumes, body sprays, hair sprays, any kind of spray. Lotions, sunscreen, moisturizers. Anything you put on your body should be applied and dry before your jewelry or gear goes on.

Oxidization and Tarnish
Sterling silver, brass, and copper will all tarnish over time. They’ll either naturally oxidize just from being out in the open (oxidization is exposure to air) or they will react with moisture and skin oils to tarnish. You can slow both of these processes by storing your jewelry in an air-tight or anti-tarnish environment, and cleaning it thoroughly after each wear.

If your jewelry does tarnish or oxidize, you can easily polish it with a jewelry polishing cloth, or silver tarnish dip.

Gold-filled jewelry is a base layer of brass clad with a thicker layer of gold than gold-plated jewelry, and it will not tarnish or discolor with proper care.

Stainless steel in silver and gold finishes are the most durable options in our shop. Rose Gold, Black, and Iridescent Rainbow finished steel will eventually begin to fade after prolonged wear of a year+.
Keep your jewelry wrapped in a soft cloth, bag, or in a drawer.

You can hang it from a jewelry organizer, just do your best to keep it clean and untangled.

Avoiding exposure to air will prevent silver, copper, and brass from oxidizing.
To prolong the beauty of your gear, we recommend gently wiping it down after each use.

Our leather is fully finished and does not require any conditioning, however, you will want to make sure you keep it clean.

To clean your leather, use a damp cloth to gently remove any dirt, oils, or any other substance. Dry with a soft cloth immediately after.

Do not use any cleaning products or solvents, as they can damage the color and finish of the leather.
To prolong the beauty of your jewelry, we recommend gently wiping it down after each use.

Simply wipe it down with a soft, dry cloth to remove any residue.

We do not recommend the use of jewelry polishing cloths on plated jewelry of any kind, as these cloths are mildly abrasive and can remove plating.
Yes! We highly recommend making sure any screws on your items stay tight.
They can come loose with wear, over time, and keeping those screws tight will make sure that you don't lose any hardware or the integrity of any bows or accents held in place with that hardware.
Yes, rose gold does contain copper, that is what gives rose gold is pink hue. If you have allergies or reactions to copper, we do not recommend rose gold plated or rose gold filled pieces.
Sterling silver is called '.925 sterling silver' because it contains 92.5% fine silver, the remaining 7.5% is copper, which makes it stronger/harder and also has the unfortunate side-effect of causing it to oxidize when exposed to moisture and air.

When sterling silver oxidizes (due to exposure to moisture, air, and chemicals), it starts to turn black. Some folks have highly acidic skin which can oxidize sterling silver faster. This is not an allergy. Please be aware that this is not a defect of the product. (Miss Annie, our founder, has this issue with anything sterling silver, she just keeps her pieces clean and polished.)

Often it just needs a buff with a jewelry polishing cloth to look as good as new. We are happy to polish, buff and refinish sterling silver jewelry for a fee. Many jewelry stores can do this, as well.
Certain types of cosmetics contain chemicals that can abrade your jewelry, causing a sort of metallic dust. This metallic dust often appears black and can cause smudges on your skin or clothing. To avoid this problem, put on your jewelry after applying your cosmetics.

Black smudges may also be caused by corrosion due to perspiration, exposure to salts and exposure to hydrogen sulfide gas (present in polluted air, some foodstuffs and industrial chemicals). To avoid these smudges, we recommend that you do not wear your jewelry while handling chemicals or products containing sulfur, and gently polish your jewelry often to remove tarnish.
If you have a Restrained Grace piece that needs repairs, please contact us with photos and details and we'll let you know if this is something we can do.

All items must be cleaned before being sent in for repair, please.

If repairs are due to wear and tear, a repair charge may be required.

As an artist-run business, we do everything ourselves, except for customer service (which our friend Eric handles for us!). Every little bit of running this business falls into our two pairs of hands, which are also full with family and life demands.

Because we have to balance our time between designing new products, photographing and listing them, maintaining our website, marketing and promotion, content creation, and filling orders - and we also need to sleep - we allow for a 1-3 week production time.

Occasionally we run across someone who believes our every waking hour should be devoted to filling orders, and to those folks, I invite you to touch grass and learn about Stress Induced Cognitive Decline.
If you need your order by a specific date, please order as early as you can, and make sure to let us know about your need-by date. No shipping method guarantees delivery dates, and our only route to correct a lost package is to remake your entire order and ship it again.

Shipping times are determined by the method you select at checkout. Please note that free shipping options are always Ground Shipping/First Class Mail.

Shipping times do not include our production time, which is posted at the top of the website.
