Common Practices & Experiences

Everyone is different! You'll see this repeated throughout our website and glossary. Common practices of service oriented individuals include, but certainly aren't limited to:
  • Performing tasks, or helping a partner to perform a task that would be hard or stressful for them to do on their own.
  • Providing comfort and reassurance to a partner in various ways.

June loves cooking their partner’s favorite meals, especially when they know their partner has had a difficult day, and that the food served will be a great comfort to their partner.

Molly’s submissive partner gets anxious while driving, so Molly is glad to offer them rides when she can.
