Common Practices & Experiences
Everyone is different! You'll see this repeated throughout our website and glossary. Common practices involving soft limits include, but certainly aren't limited to
- Typically soft limits are off the table for new dynamics.
- Some soft limits are flexible within established dynamics with a great degree of trust.
- Some people are willing to consent to a soft limit under specific physical conditions (i.e. “It would have to be done in my own home.” Or “ It would need to be done with a specific instrument of my choosing.” )
One of Orion’s soft limits is being blindfolded. They might only consider engaging with this type of play in a long term dynamic where trust had been established.
Yuri considers anal play a soft limit, and would only consider engaging with it as a top, for a partner who was experienced and would direct the play.
